My Daily Constitution partners with communities around the country to create public dialogue about constitutional issues. Lawyers, scholars, and law students drawn locally from the community help lead discussions prompted by a constitutional question. MDC events take place in cafés, dance halls, bars, book shops, restaurants, libraries, museums, churches, art galleries and parks. Following MDC guidelines, dialogues are candid, informative, and respectful. MDC gets thoughtful discussions about the Constitution out of the lecture hall and court room, and into people’s daily lives.
My Daily Constitutionevents are designed to break away from the dynamics of the large lecture hall, and the invisible 'wall' of the panel discussion, to create a space where individuals and communities can become active participants in a dialogue about our democracy.
